The Setting Up Of My Exhibition At The Hayloft Gallery July 21

Much preparation, thought and planning goes into setting up an exhibition. Your target audience is the first consideration, how much wall space you have and not to over crowd the space. Less is always more. My exhibition showcased, land, sea and skycapes so I grouped them together and then sub divided them by colour frame choices making them flow around the available space. A range of gift items and smaller framed prints were also exhibited to appeal to different budgets. It took 5 hours to set up, with help from family and friends which was much appreciated.

This video demonstrates the planning and execution of setting up my exhibition. Its a time lapse of the hanging plan and how much time and hard work is involved. My fine art photography is framed limited edition prints also printed on aluminium and wood. I also offer a range of glass gifts and cards to cater for all budgets.

About the Author:

Berkshire born and bred, I have an extremely active imagination! My earliest memory is sitting up in bed, picturing faces, animals and clouds within my bedroom curtains and wallpaper. I’m told I see things in everyday life which others don’t see. Quietly observing life, listening, watching and leafing through magazines, I nurtured my artistic eye for colour, composition and design. Happiest outdoors, I have golden memories of holidays on the South Coast and my Uncle’s farm in Devon, making hay, fishing trout and running free.
