I had planned to visit my favourite group of trees in the snow. It was cold, windy and snowing heavily. I walked to my desired spot where I had separation from surrounding hedges and other trees. It was such a beautiful intimate moment alone in the landscape gazing at the copse before me. The trees stood proud at the top of a gentle slope, elegant, bare and displaying every branch to the elements, while a soft line of grass formed an arc for the base of the trees to rest on. I really enjoyed the minimalistic composition of this winter landscape, reminding me of a fine art pencil sketch.
